Raju Alim, Programme Manager of Channel I, has been awarded Best Media Business Personality award this year.
Nobel Laureate Dr Mohammad Yunus Thursday handed over the award to him at a function arranged at the Bangladesh China Friendship Conference Centre in the city.
Drama personality Atiqul Huq Chowdhury, Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) Director Kamal Uddin Ahmed, among others, attended the function.
Alim started his career as a journalist in the Daily Ittefaq. He is also a poet, dramatist, director and journalist.
