The interim government has directed all the hajj agencies of the country to renew their contracts with the Dhaka Hajj office for conducting the pilgrimage programme next year.
In case of any hajj agency's failure to do so, their user ID will be closed down.
As per the directives of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the Dhaka Hajj office sent letters to the agencies concerned last week, asking them to renew their respective contracts with the government.
To carry out hajj activities for 1446 Hejira/2025, according to the directives, all registered agencies must renew their respective hajj, travel and trade licences along with submitting latest income-tax return papers. The pre-registration for next year's hajj started on 01 September 2024.
