Amateur Experimental Rocketry Dhaka (AERD), in collaboration with Dr Anwarul Abedin Institute of Innovation (D2A2I) and American International University of Bangladesh (AIUB), launched the first weather balloon on the AIUB campus in the city on Friday. The balloon later landed smoothly just 120 kilometres from the launch site in Cumilla with all payload and equipment intact.
