Anti-narcotics drive in city, 642 jailed

A mobile court sentenced 642 people to various terms of imprisonment conducting anti-narcotics drives in the capital in the last two months, reports UNB.

Briefing reporters at Dhaka Metropolitan Police(DMP) media centre, Joint Commissioner (DB) Monirul Islam said a mobile court of DMP conducted drives against drug traders and drug addicted people from February 1 to March 31 and detained 642 people from different places.
