Apollo Hospital Dhaka Celebrates World Diabetes Day

Apollo Hospitals Dhaka (AHD) organised a seminar and free quick diabetic check on World Diabetes Day. To create awareness on diabetes, free blood glucose screening was offered and the visitors participated with much enthusiasm.
Consultant, Apollo Endocri-nology Clinic Nazmul Islam spoke about the risk of diabetes and the issue of negligence and less awareness among the community.
Dr M Quamrul Hassan, Consultant - Apollo Depart-ment of Paediatrics also emphasised the effect of childhood diabetes in developing nations and discussed the symptoms to be aware of at an early age.
