It was discussed in the second meeting of the support task force formed to implement the government's "25 crore tree plantation" programme held on Thursday at the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
State Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Shaikh Faridul Islam presided over the meeting held at the ministry's conference room, according to a statement issued by the ministry.
The five-year afforestation programme, a key election pledge of the government, aims to plant 25 crore trees.
