The Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) Land Commission on Settlement of Land Disputes sought applications from the affected refugees to settle land dispute in the hill region, reports UNB.
The rehabilitated India-returned refugees who were ousted from their lands or affected due to illegal settlement have been asked to submit applications to the chairman of the commission for legal disposal of the dispute about their claimed lands.
Application could be submitted at the head office of the commission in Khagrachhari district as well as at the offices of Bandarban and Rangamati Deputy Commissioners within next 60 days.
No application would be received after the deadline.
