Arms, bombs recovered from UP chairman's house in Khulna

KHULNA, July 25 (UNB): Police recovered four pipe guns and 10 live bombs from the house of a UP chairman at village Gulari in Dakop Upazila early morning today (Friday).
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Detective Branch Police raided the house of Sutarkhali UP chairman Bidhu Narayan Sardar at about 6.00am and recovered the arms and bombs from a pile of straw on the house premises. Police filed a case and arrested one person in this connection.
