Army chief leaves Dhaka for Russia, Croatia

Army Chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman has left Dhaka for Russia and Croatia on a week-long official visit, reports BSS.
He departed for Russia on Sunday morning, said an ISPR press release.
Following his visit to Russia, the army chief will travel to Croatia on April 10.
During the visit, he will hold meetings with senior civil and military officials of both the countries and exchange views on enhancing bilateral cooperation in defense and related sectors.
General Waker is also likely to visit some military installations and arms manufacturing facilities there.
The army chief is scheduled to return home on April 12, it added.
