Chief of Army Staff General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed left Dhaka for Kuwait on a five-day state visit at the invitation of Kuwait Army Chief of General Staff Lt General Ghazi Hassan Al-Shammari, reports BSS.
During his stay in Kuwait, Shafiuddin Ahmed will pay a courtesy call on Kuwait Defense Minister Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al Salem Al Sabah.
The Chief of Army is expected to return home on August 4, said an ISPR press release.
