Army Chief receives computers for preparing voter ID card

Chief of Army Staff Moeen U Ahmed received computers (laptops) from different mobile phone companies and a bank as technical assistance in preparing voter National ID Cards at the Banquet Hall of Dhaka Cantonment Monday, reports UNB.
Warid Telecom, Grameen Phone, Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited, Banglalink, City Cell and AKTEL companies handed over 500, 200, 100, 50, 50 and 50 pieces of computer respectively and all other necessary equipment to the Army Chief, said an ISPR release.
Among others, senior army officers, officers engaged in preparing voter list and National ID Card project, and high officials of the companies concerned were present on the occasion.
