Chief of Army Staff General S M Shafiuddin Ahmed exchanges greetings and shares joy with army personnel at army camps in a remote area of Chattogram Hill Tracts (CHT) on Sunday on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha — ISPR Chief of Army Staff General S M Shafiuddin Ahmed on Sunday shared joy of Eid with army personnel at different army camps in remote areas of Chattogram Hill Tracts (CHT) on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, reports BSS.
He visited Pangkhupara Army Camp and Baghaihat Zone Headquarters in Rangamati district and Dighinala Zone Headquarters in Khagrachhari, said an ISPR press release.
The army chief shared Eid greetings with army members. He enquired about overall matters of army personnel serving duty at those camps.
Mr Ahmed also handed over Eid gifts to them.
At first, the army chief visited Pangkhupara Army Camp in Rangamati. From there, he went to Baghaihat Zone Headquarters.
He also urged the army members to devote themselves keeping intact social and communal harmony with the spirit of sacrifice of Eid-ul-Azha.
