Shariful Huq, father of Army Chief General Abu Belal Muhammad Shafiul Huq and former mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation Anisul Huq, was buried at Banani graveyard on Friday, reports BSS.
He was laid to eternal rest following a namaz-e-janaza after Asr prayers at Banani mosque.
Awami League General Secretary and Road, Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader and Senior officials of Bangladesh Army were present at the namaz-e-janaza.
