Art competition of EWU on Nov 10

East West University (EWU) Environmental and Social Club (ESC) is going to organise an art competition for the children on November 10 in the city's Bangladesh China Friendship Centre to mark the university's 10th founding anniversary.
The theme of the competition is 'Bangladesh.' Eminent artists -- Samarjeet Roy Chowdhury, Rafiqun Nabi and Shishir Bhattacharya -- will be present in the function as judges. Actress Rokeya Prachi will conduct the function.
The competition will be held in three groups: Group A -- up to six years, Group B -- seven to nine years, and Group C -- 10 to 12 years. Interested participants can register their names on the competition day at the venue from 8:30am to 10:00am.
The competition will start at 10:00am, and continue until 11:30am. The prize giving ceremony will be held at 12:30pm. The prize money for the first, second and third positions will be Tk 5,000, Tk 3,000 and Tk 2,000 respectively.
