Professor Dr M Nazrul Islam, an eminent phaco and glaucoma specialist of the country, has been elected executive board member and Bangladesh representative to the Asia-Pacific Glaucoma Society, reports BSS.
The election to the society took place in its fourth conference held in the South Korean city of Bussan on April 13-15, a press release said. He is the president of Bangladesh Eye Care Society, vice-president of Bangladesh Cataract and Refractive Society and chairman of Jashore Community Eye Hospital and Jashore Eye and Laser Centre.
