Awareness about AIDS stressed

Gazipur Civil Surgeon Dr Md Saidur Rahman urged all to learn about AIDS and help create awareness among common people about the disease. He also said that we can delimit the spread of the fatal disease by abiding by our respective religious addicts, said a press release.
Mr Rahman was speaking as chief guest at a seminar on "AIDS- How we can protect us from this fatal disease" organised by Sekandar-Safia Foundation at Kazi Azim Uddin College auditorium, Gazipur recently.
Acting Principal of the college Fatema Zohra presided over the programme where keynote speaker was Dr Amir Hossain Rahat, general Secretary of Gazipur unit of Bangladesh Medical Association.
Chairman of the foundation former vice president of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry Abul Qasem Haidar delivered the address of welcome.
Mukul Kumar Mallick, Dr Md Ali Haidar Kazi Maarif Hossain also spoke, among others, on the occasion.
