Awareness building campaign conducted

RANGPUR, Oct 4 (BSS): District Information Office (DIO) has conducted massive awareness building publicity campaign during the past three months throughout the district in which local people participated with great enthusiasm.
The DIO has organised various programmes at upazila and union levels through various awareness-building activities, official sources said.
The programmes included awareness building initiatives on making a corruption and terrorism free society, birth registration, family planning, eradication of repression on women and children, ensuring child rights, reproductive health, women education, prevention of HIV/AIDS and STDs, women empowerment, bird flu, adolescents' health care, sanitation and other related issues.
