BAF, BOU sign MoU

With a view to co-coordinating and conducting higher secondary education programme of airmen, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) and Bangladesh Open University (BOU), reports UNB.

Captain Kazi Abdul Moyeen, director of Education Directorate of Bangladesh Air Force Group and Prof Dr Abul Hossain, registrar of BOU signed the MoU on behalf of their respective sides at BAF Headquarters in the city Wednesday.

Besides, human resource development, this MoU would be considered as a milestone in the modernisation of BAF, said an ISPR release.

Under the MoU, the BOU will primarily open three study centres at different bases of BAF in Dhaka, Chittagong and Jessore and its number would be increased gradually considering necessity.

Higher Secondary Education of airmen will be regulated by the Education programme of BOU through these study centres.

Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Admin) Air Vice Marshal Mashihuzzaman Serniabat and Vice Chancellor of BOU Prof Dr MA Mannan addressed on the occasion.
