Bangladesh Marine Academy graduation parade held

CHATTOGRAM, Dec 31: The graduation parade of the 57th batch of Bangladesh Marine Academy was held in Chattogram on Sunday.
State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury attended it as the chief guest while Chairman of Chattogram Port Authority (CPA) Rear Admiral Mohammad Sohail was present as special guest.
Commandant of Bangladesh Marine Academy Captain IK Taimur also attended it.
The state minister said Bangladesh Marine Academy is a national institution for producing world-class marine officers and marine engineers.
He also said Bangladesh has won category 'C' in the executive council of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) recently.
A total of 272 new cadets including 134 in the nautical branch and 138 in the engineering branch completed their graduation.
