Bangladeshi boy wins Dubai Int'l Holy Quran Award

A Bangladeshi madrasah student, Md Fazle Rabbi Adel, has won first prize at the 11th Dubai International Holy Quran Award competition, reports UNB.
Rabbi, a Class VIII student of Tanzimul Ummah Madrasah, Uttara, received the prize from Shaikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, at a ceremony Tuesday night. Consul Generals of India, UK, USA, Somalia, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Egypt were present on the occasion.
The senior member of ruling family, eminent Islamic scholars from the region and senior high officials and Bangladeshi expatriates were also present.
