Bashundhara official held for trespassing on govt property

GAZIPUR, May 14 (bdnews24.com): Gazipur police arrested a senior Bashundhara Group official early Friday on charges of trespassing on government property, cutting earth and threatening government officers.
Masum Hossain is a senior administrative officer of Bashundhara's Mouchak City Housing Project.
Gazipur's Kaliakair thana Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Amir Hossain told the news agency that Masum was arrested at the city's Madhyaparha.
Mohammad Mokhlesur Rahman, assistant land officer of Shafipur union, Thursday filed two cases against Bashundhara Group chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan, alias Shah Alam. The cases also charged another 40 to 50 unidentified people.
