With a view to developing teaching quality, British Council (BC) and Southern University Bangladesh (SUB) jointly organised a workshop on "Teachers Training" at SUB conference room in the city on Wednesday last, said a press release.
Pro-VC of SUB Prof Dr Sharifuzzaman inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest while Head of Business Administration Department Mrs Ishrat Jahan presided over the function.
Trainer of British Council Mirza Tarique Beg was the facilitator at the workshop while SUB Registrar Dr Mantazul Islam Chowdhury was also present on the occasion.
Dr Sharifuzzaman urged the authority to organise this kind of training workshop on a regular basis.
About 25 teachers of different departments took part in the day-long workshop. After the successful completion of the workshop, certificates were awarded among the participants by Founder of SUB Sarwar Jahan.
The workshop was coordinated and designed by Muhammad Hasan, lecturer of Business Administration Department of SUB, the release added.
