BD farmer shot dead by BSF 5 picked up

DINAJPUR, Feb 2 (UNB): A Bangladeshi farmer was gunned down and another wounded with bullet by members of the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) along the Ochintopur border of Birampur Upazila Monday morning.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Nazrul Islam, 40, son of Abdul Goni, resident of Chapla village of the upazila.
Witnesses said BSF members opened fire on them while they were planting paddy in a field of the area around 10am, leaving Nazrul dead on the spot and another wounded with bullet.
BSF also picked up another BD national from the area.
Another report adds from Thakurgoan: Indian Border Security Force (BSF) members picked up three Bangaldeshi nationals from Nagorbhita border of Baliadanga Upazila Monday morning.
