BD-US air exercise begins June 1

A six-day long combined exercise between Bangladesh Air Force and US Pacific Air Force, codenamed, ‘Exercise Pacific Angel-2014-1’, will begin at Saidpur of Rangpur and Dinajpur on June 1. In the exercise, the local people will be provided with medical treatment along with knowledge on medical care. The engineers from the combined force will provide assistance in renovation and repairing of damage and weak structures of selected schools, said an ISPR release on Sunday. Mentionable that a special advance team from Bangladesh Air Force and US Force visited various places in March for selecting suitable site to make the exercise successful and fruitful. An advance team from Bangladesh Air Force and Bangladesh Army reached the exercise area on Sunday, according to a news agency.
