BDR of Joypurhat seizes gold

JOYPURHAT, Dec 9: BDR of Joypurhat 3 Rifle battalion seized 265 vories of pure gold in 6 bars from Joypurhat bypass road at Puranapail area on Wednesday early in the morning.
Lt Colonel Abdullah Al Mamun said that on a secret information BDR team raided this area and stopped a private car. After searching the car they seized the gold worth about taka 8.86 million with the car worth 10 million.
