BGB arrests man with 70,000 Yaba pills in Cox's Bazar

COX'S BAZAR, Dec 13 (UNB): Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested a man along with 70,000 Yaba pills and a private car in two separate drives in Teknaf upazila of Cox's Bazar on Wednesday.

Tipped off that a consignment of Yaba pills might be smuggled through Teknaf-Cox's Bazar Highway, Teknaf Battalion (BGB-2) of BGB strengthened checking of vehicles at Damdamia, Hoaikong, Khurermukh and Shilkhali check posts, said Lt. Col. Md Mohiuddin Ahmed, Captain of Teknaf Battalion (BGB-2).
