BGB seize 1,827 Yaba tablets in Jashore

JASHORE, Dec 02 (UNB): Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized 1,827 Yaba tablets from the bank of Ichamati River at Agrovullot village in Sharsha upazila on Sunday.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of BGB 21 battalion conducted a drive in the area around 1:30 pm, said Lieutenant Colonel Emranullah Sarker, Commanding Officer of BGB Khulna headquarters.

During the drive, they found the Yaba tablets wrapped in a polythene bag which was left abandoned on the river bank, he added.
