Bijoy Ekattar Hall open for students of all religions

Bijoy Ekattar Hall of Dhaka University (DU) is going to open for the students of all religions from 2015-2016 academic session, reports UNB.

The DU syndicate has decided to allocate seat to all students irrespective of their religion, faith and creeds, said Prof Dr AJM Shafiul Alam Bhuiyan, provost of the hall, while speaking at a press briefing on Sunday.

He said the decision was taken at the Syndicate meeting on July 13 following his request.

The provost said students belonging to any religion can apply for seat at the dormitory. They will be allocated seat on the basis of merit.
