The 124th birth anniversary of Mirza Ahmed Ispahani was celebrated at Mirza Ahmed Ispahani High School in Chattogram on Friday, says a statement.
Mirza Ahmed Ispahani was father of Mirza Mehdy Ispahani and founder of Mirza Ahmed Ispahani High School.
He was a renowned industrialist, educationist and chairman of Ispahani Group of Companies.
Marking the day, Quran khawani, milad and doa mahfil were held in the school auditorium seeking eternal peace of the departed soul.
Among the students, Tihamee Wahaz Siddiquee, Nabila Islam, Anisha Tahsin and Ahmed Zubayer Lutfullah delivered speech on his biography.
The programme was presided over by S M Mojibur Rahman, Head Teacher of Mirza Ahmed Ispahani High School.
He advised the learners to follow the ideal life and activities of this majestic personality. The programme came to an end with the distribution of tabarok among the students.
