Birth Registration Day today

The National Birth Registration Day will be observed countrywide today (Saturday) to ensure every child's right to be registered and have a name, reports UNB.
The government has chalked out elaborate programmes to observe the day through creating awareness among the masses.
This year's theme of the Day is: "Birth Certificate is a Right: It's the responsibility of all to ensure the right."
The government in 2007 officially declared July 3 as the National Birth Registration Day.
