BNHRC signs deal on human right education

The Bangladesh National Human Rights Commission (BNHRC) and Youth for Human Rights International (YHRI) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) Sunday at YHRI headquarters in Los Angeles, California.

According to this agreement, BNHRC would be the partner of YHRI to cooperate in bringing human rights education to the youths in Bangladesh, a press release said issued Sunday.

BNHRC Chairman Professor Mizanur Rahman and the International Activities Director of YHRI Ruslan Khusainov signed the agreement for their respective organisations.

The agreement will help implement YHRI's human rights-based education and training programmes in universities, schools and law enforcement agencies.
