The bodies of the three of nine Bangladesh nationals who were burnt to death in a fire at a furniture-manufacturing factory in Riyadh on May 12 will be brought back home today (Tuesday), reports UNB.
Assistant director of Expatriates' Welfare Board Jahid Anwar said the bodies of the three dead Bangladeshi workers-M Abdul Gaffar, 35, Nazir Hossain, 32 and Mohammad Bahauddin, 27 -- will arrive at the Shahjalal International Airport this afternoon.
The dead bodies will be handed over to the relatives at the airport, he said.
Each family will also receive Tk 35,000 from the government as the burial cost, Jahid added.
Earlier on Friday, the bodies of six dead workers were handed over to the relatives.
