The government has formed a five-member cabinet committee, headed by Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Faqir Mahbub Anam, to review and finalise the draft 'Cyber Protection (Amendment) Act, 2026', reports BSS.
The other members of the committee are Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed and Foreign Minister Dr Khalilur Rahman, Information and Broadcasting Minister Zahir Uddin Swapon, and Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Md Asaduzzaman, according to a notification issued by the Cabinet Division on Thursday.
