BOU organises discussion on Victory Day

Gazipur, Dec 18: A discussion, organised by Bangladesh Open University (BOU) was held at the university conference hall in Gazipur Thursday marking the 43rd victory day.

Minister for Liberation War Affairs Advocate AKM Mozammel Hoque was present as the chief guest on the occasion while freedom fighter Kazi Mozammel Hoque attended it as the special guest. Vice-Chancellor (VC) of BOU Prof MA Mannan presided over the meeting.

The minister said liberation war is the most significant event in the history of our nation. The freedom fighters are the great heroes of the country and they will never die.  

More than 150 freedom fighters from Gazipur district took part in the programme.

Treasurer of the university Prof Abu Taher and writer prof Mamtazuddin Patwary, among others, spoke.
