BOU student killed in accident

A student of Bangladesh Open University (BOU) was killed in a road accident at city's Dhanmondi area Saturday morning, reports BSS.

The deceased was identified as Salman Rahman Sagor, 20, son of Furkan Ali from Narayan Pasha Village of Bauphal upazila in Patuakhali district.

Sub-Inspector of Dhanmondi Police Station Al-Amin said, "The accident

occurred when a car hit him at around 10 am while he was crossing the road in front of Prince Plaza."

"Salman was rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctor declares him dead at around 11 am," he added.
