BPJMCS launched

Bangladesh Photo Journalist Multipurpose Cooperative Society (BPJMCS) was launched on Friday to implement housing projects for photo journalists' working for different national and regional news organisations.
Abu Taher Khokon of New Age was elected president in a general meeting organised at its office in Bangabandhu Avenue while Yasmin Kabir Joy of Focus Bangla News was elected general secretary.
An 11-member executive committee was also formed in the meeting, BPJMCS office said.
