BR starts selling advance tickets for Eid

Bangladesh Railway (BR) Wednesday started selling advance tickets for the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha, though there was little rush for tickets on the first day at Kamlapur station in the city.
BR's advance ticket selling will continue until November 22, and the journey will begin on November 23 and end on November 27.
"We got rather poor response on the first day (Wednesday), as around 60 per cent train tickets were sold on the day. There were good sales for Lalmomi Express and Drutojan out of 22 intercity trains," said Miah Jahan, BR divisional commercial officer.
