BRAC School of Public Health becomes APACPH member

The BRAC University James P Grant School of Public Health has been accorded full membership of the prestigious Asia-Pacific Academic Consortium for Public Health (APACPH), said a press release.
President of the APACPH, Richard Southby, recently conveyed this message to the dean of the James P Grant School of Public Health Mushtaque Chowdhury. Chowdhury has also been invited to the APACPH's next general assembly meeting to be held in Tokyo in November 2007.
The James P Grant School of Public Health (JPGSPH) was set up in 2004 to develop future public health leaders in Bangladesh and other low-income countries.
JPGSPH has partnership with other institutions such as the ICDDR,B, Columbia University, Harvard University, London School, University of Sussex, Uppsala University, Karolinska Institute, Kerala School of Health Sciences and University of Amsterdam.
