LALMONIRHAT, Jan 28 (UNB): A Bangladeshi young man was allegedly beaten to death by members of Border Security Force of India (BSF) near Burimari border in Patgram upazila early Sunday.
The deceased identified as Manjurul Alam, 21, son of Asadul Islam, a resident of Ufarmara village in the upazila, was a cattle trader.
BSF members picked up Manjur last night after chasing a group of cattle traders who went to India to bring cattle. Later, BSF members allegedly beat Manjur to death and left his body at zero point, said BGB sources.
Later, BGB members of Burimari camp recovered the body and sent it to Patgram Police Station.
