BSF detain Bangladeshi on Naogaon border

NAOGAON, Dec 02 (UNB): Members of Border Security Force (BSF) of India detained on Sunday a Bangladeshi national as he allegedly entered India illegally through Nitpur border of Porsha upazila of the district.

The detainee is Md Soleman Ali (30), son of Nur Box Miah of Balashahid village in the upazila.

Naib Subedar Ashiqur Rahman of Nitpur Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) camp said Soleman crossed into India illegally through pillar No-229 around 6:00 am when a BSF team caught him.

BGB sent a letter to BSF inviting the Indian border force to a flag meeting to return Soleman, he said.
