Grameenphone youth dedicated brand djuice will donate an amount of Tk 3.6 million to two Bishshwa Shahitya Kendro (BSK) programmes-the Enrichment Programme (Book Reading Programme) and the "Know Bangladesh" (Deshke Jano).
Grameenphone Ltd., the telecommunication service giant, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Bishsho Shahitto Kendro (BSK) at its Gulshan head office Wednesday.
Chairman of BSK Professor Abdullah Abu Sayeed, Chief Executive Officer of Grameenphone Anders Jensen, Head of Marketing Rubaba Dowla and Head of Public Relations Syed Yamin Bakht were present at the signing ceremony.
For BSK's Enrichment Programme (Book Reading Programme), djuice will be donating books while designing and producing djuice-branded bookmarks and other gift items.
Simultaneously, djuice will sponsor the Prize Giving Ceremony of BSK's Book Reading Programme in three locations across the country- Dhaka, Chittagong and Khulna.
At the same time, djuice has also pledged to sponsor "Deshke Jano"; a countrywide bicycle tour programme organised by the BSK.
Under this programme, a team of young energetic explorers will travel across the country for gathering details on the lifestyle of the common people and will help them out wherever needed.
Under the agreement, djuice will provide the participants self-branded bicycles as well as outfits and accessories. The brand will also undertake extensive coverage on newspaper and other media.
On the eve of the agreement, Grameenphone CEO Anders Jensen said, "The major focus of djuice this year is youth development and our partnership with BSK is a part of that broader vision."
