Vice Chancellor of BSMMU Professor Kamrul Hassan Khan was the chief guest of the programme. Pro Vice Chancellor (Research and Development) of BSMMU Professor M Shahidullah Sikder, Founder President of Kidney Foundation Bangladesh and President of the Society of Organ Transplant Bangladesh Professor Dr Harun-Ur-Rashid and former dean of the department of virology of BSMMU Professor Nazrul Islam were also present at the Dr Milton Hall in the city's Shahbag area.

Now organ transplantation will start in the hospital in full fledged."
