Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) organised Friday a voluntary blood donation programme to mark the National Mourning Day and the 40th Shahadat Day of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and 11th anniversary of Aug 21 grenade attack, reports BSS.
BSMMU Vice- Chancellor Professor Dr Kamrul Hasan Khan inaugurated the programme on the university campus, said a press release.
Pro VC (Admin) Prof Dr M Sarfuddin Ahmed, Dean of dental department Dr M Ali Asgor Morol, Registrar and transfusion medicine department chairman Prof Dr M Asadul Islam, Director (Hospital) Brigadier General (Retd) M Abdul Majid Bhuyian were present, among others.
