Vice Chancellor of BUET Prof Dr Satya Prasad Majumder virtually joined a workshop on 'Personalised and Inclusive Education in Bangladesh: Challenges and Prospects' jointly conducted by IICT of BUET and the IIT of JU recently A two-day virtual international workshop on 'Personalised and Inclusive Education in Bangladesh: Challenges and Prospects' was held recently, conducted by the Institute of Information and Communication Technology (IICT) of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and the Institute of Information Technology (IIT) of Jahangirnagar University (JU), says a statement.
About 200 participants joined the workshop including students, faculty members and policymakers from different higher education institutions across the country.
Vice Chancellor of BUET Prof Dr Satya Prasad Majumder attended the programme as chief guest while Prof Dr Rubaiyat Hossain Mondal, Director of IICT of BUET, Dr Mufti Mahmud of Nottingham Trent University (UK), Prof Dr Md Saiful Islam of IICT of BUET, Prof Dr M Shamim Kaiser, Director, IIT and Prof Dr Shamim Al Mamun of JU, Dr Hossen Asiful Mustafa and Mohammad Muntasir Hassan of IICT, BUET were also present.
Vice Chancellor of JU Prof Dr Farzana Islam and member of the UGC Prof Dr Bishwajit Chanda were present at the closing ceremony.
