BUET names civil engg building after Jamilur Reza Choudhury

The Civil Engineering Building of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) has been renamed as Dr Jamilur Reza Choudhury Civil Engineering Building, says a press release.

BUET Alumni Association submitted a proposal to the vice chancellor of the university to name the BUET Civil Engineering Building after Professor Dr. Jamilur Reza Chowdhury.

The proposal was unanimously adopted to rename the Civil Engineering Building as `Dr. Jamilur Reza Choudhury Civil Engineering Building' at the 58th meeting of the Faculty of Civil Engineering on March 26, 2021.
