BUET teacher wins Sticker Design Contest

Tareq Haidar, a teacher of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), has secured the first position in a nationwide Sticker Design Contest, reports UNB.
Dhaka City Corporation and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) jointly organised the design competition held at a city hotel Saturday.
Almas Ahmed Jayed, a professional designer, stood second out of 322 designs and a student of Fine Arts of Dhaka University secured third position.
Tareq's sticker will be pasted on the 100 new garbage carrying vehicles that will be procured under 'Clean Dhaka City' project funded by Japan.
