Burglars stole gold ornaments, cash and other valuables from a flat at Elephant Road in the city early Wednesday, reports UNB.
Police said a gang of burglars numbering 3-4 entered the flat of multi-storied building breaking grills of the balcony sometimes in between 12:00-5:00 am.
They took away gold ornaments, cash Tk 15,000 and other valuables worth around Tk 0.252 million from the flat, said SI Zahirul Islam, duty officer of New Market police station.
