COX'S BAZAR, Aug 13 (UNB): Three people were killed and 20 others injured in a collision between a bus and a microbus at Golarmara under Chokoria upazila of the district on Chittagong-Cox's Bazar highway Wednesday afternoon.
The deceased could not be identified immediately.
Witnesses said the a bus of Amin Paribahan heading towards Chittagong collided with the microbus coming from the opposite direction around 4:45 pm, leaving two microbus passengers dead on the spot and 21 passengers of both vehicles injured.
Among the injured, one died at upazila health complex.
Condition of three injured people was stated to be critical.
Chirigana highway police sergeant Md Nizamuddin confirmed the incident.
Police recovered the bodies and seized the two vehicles.
