BWDB gets new DG

Md Ismail Hossain joined Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) as Director General (DG) on Monday, said a press release.

Prior to joining this post he was the Additional Director General (Planning) of BWDB. He joined BWDB as an Assistant Engineer (Civil) in 1980.

He got his graduation in Civil Engineering from Rajshahi Engineering College (now RUET) in the year 1979.

He attended different meetings, seminars and got training in Japan and other countries.

He was born in Pangherdeghi village under Akkalpur Upazila of Joypurhat in 1955.
