B’desh now a dignified state: Nasim

SIRAJGANJ, Apr 10 (BSS): Awami League presidium member and Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim said here Friday under the bold and farsighted leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Bangladesh has established itself a dignified country in the world.

"A new horizon of development has now been initiated in the country under the dynamic and visionary leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Many countries on the globe have been replicating Bangladesh as a role model of development. It has become possible owing to good governance of the present government," the minister said.

Mohammad Nasim said this while speaking as the chief guest at a largely attended public rally on the Dadboira Madrasha ground of Khasrajbari Union under Kazipur Upazila in the district.

Earlier, the minister distributed cash and relief materials, including corrugated iron sheets, among affected families and persons drowned in boat capsize incidents in the recent Norwester that swept the remote shoal area of the Union.
